Apex Legends is Lacking New CONTENT

Forget content; the game's been hardcore broke since late Season 4 to the start of Season 5. I think they hired of some inept network programmers, because hit registration, lag, prediction errors, and the maligned Battlefield 3, 4, 1, V "Superbullet" and "half-second rendering delay" have all been introduced into this game.

Thing is, I have no problem walking away from this game. I tolerated it in BF:V because I was gaming with friends. But if there's one thing I don't have anymore in my life, it's patience and tolerance for garbage. This game is garbage; be it these issues, or poor Quality of Life like being pitted against people who have 4-8x my playtime in 1 character, 4x the kills, etc. If that's the best SBMM can do, I've got better ways to spend my time than to watch this game tank out.

In general, it isn't lacking in new content at all, with events, new skins, new characters, game modes.

But there is one place it is sorely lacking, and that is M A P S.

Fortnite used the 'same' map for a long time.  The difference was their map was amazing for what they were doing, they have a different kind of game that is far more forgiving for map design, and it was a large enough map to handle changes.

Apex, on the other hand, has Kings Canyon, which is drop and fistfight, and you hear people screaming about third partying...on a really small map, duh!  Regardless, you can change KC a thousand times and it's not going to matter, because it's still small, it's still drop and fistfight, and it's still the same not strategic, not interesting gameplay over and over and over again.  Apex has a good map, it's called World's Edge, which actually fixes all the problems in Kings Canyon, and is better in general.  And it's ignored for another season.

If you're going to have a game with loot box clusters, where there is a major learning curve from Call of Duty to figuring out how to actually winning a game of Apex, to learning the new characters and how they play on the maps, then you're going to need new maps more often, pure and simple.  I'm not saying don't make a new character, or don't expand the game in other ways, but if you change the map, and make it better than whatever version of Kings Canyon we are on, then you'll change the gameplay for all players for the better no matter what their favorite character or gun or strategy is. 

Well, except for drop, fistfight and lose the game fast.  Those people are going to want to drop in the lab all year long in KC. :P

The New Event wasn't that fun, and a lot like the battle armor event except with shotguns and snipers. Along side model respawn beacons.

Why can't we have good events like season 3? I hated season 3, but it had the best events ever in the game between Halloween and Christmas.

NOW it seems that I'm always playing the same thing and the events don't feel that special compared to what they use to be. This event focused on needed buffs and nerfs and tweaks, which is welcomed, but that shouldn't be the focus of the event.

Just re-watched the dev stream and someone said "it's a lot of stuff" Sure

Look events need to introduce something new and different and makes the game feel fresh, but limiting weapon and loot options, doesn't really do anything and the devs have re-used changing the loot pool for events WAY TOO OFTEN. I'm just asking for new ideas, like limited map changes or new anything. Idk maybe just have a titan mode (idk), just stop bringing loot drop changes or ring changes for a EVENT. THAT IS NO FUN. The reason season 3 events were so good is because no ever played as shadows before or played to capture a train with a new loadout every-day, but in like lost treasure we just get shotguns and snipers AGAIN FOR LIKE THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME! It's no fun, we all have used shotguns and snipers before, nothing new.

Apex is becoming real stall and no real purpose to get on everyday, besides for the same reason we all started Apex. Bring something we have never seen before and bring us something fun and different to try. Please?

In terms of the event, what do you expect when there really isn't much to it? It wasn't an "Event", so much as a "Limited window to buy skins".

I mean, when I think of an Event, I think of new things to play and collect. There wasn't much collecting, as anything decent was locked behind a pay wall for insane prices. I mean, where is the fun in that, as a player? Spoiler Alert: there isn't any.

And, yeah, recycled Events/Modes isn't all that fun, in general. Believe me, take it from someone who used to play OverWatch daily. It gets old quick. And, on top of that, there isn't really any "earning" Event cosmetics in Apex. So, it's no new modes to play, and barely any new cosmetics to play for. That is a terrible combination. Honestly, I got all my Lost Treasure points in 5 days, and because all the other stuff was buy only, I had really no reason to play for most of the event. That isn't good.

So, yeah, I feel you about wanting more things to play and work toward. I mean, as it is, once you hit Lvl 500, you no longer get Packs, So there isn't really any reason to level up at that point. You mix that with mostly Cosmetics Behind a Paywall "Events" and recycled game modes, it really doesnt leave much to be excited for, If you have been playing this game for a while. And that is a huge problem, in my opinion
