Apex legends season 13 rank

This rank system has broken ranked. Anything past gold takes you 30 mins of wait time to launch lobby. Watched Hal and snip3down sit in a Q for 30 mins 6 times for them to finally say yup where done grinding rank. Apex just killed the rank community. You want to rank up rat till final 3 and try for KP after that cause KP don’t mater past like 5 you don’t get any real reward for killing. This rank rework was not thought out. Respawn needs to fix fast and forcing storm point down our throats wasn’t a good idea either. I can promise you this Respawn you will be the death of your game don’t be like 343 and try so hard to fail. This game is amazing am so many people love it but right now there’s so much hate for ranked and pub games. Last season I thought 10 min wait times for pred lobbies was bad now 40 mins for a plat lobbie because 3 negative games in a row go backwards to gold silver and bronze yay I’m having so much fun play the same map over n over n over just to wait 30 mins 40 mins  to play. 😢😑😑😑

    @Ghost_SkgIt’s the start of a new ranked season, all the lower ranks will be filled with master/preds especially since everyone got put back into gold. There are hardly any players in Platinum right now. It’s normal and it will fix itself within a few days once everyone else has made the climb.

    This ranked change has been long overdue and amazing for me and my friends. It’s much more fun to play ranked now because it actually rewards skill and game sense/decision making. Ratting won’t get you anywhere and neither does hot dropping to farm kills and die outside of top 10. It hasn’t broken ranked, it has fixed it.

    @Ghost_Skg I said this would exactly happen on the very day they released the new rank system infos. And I am not a genius or anything... or maybe I am. lol

    @HansBurgers So weird that so many say the new rank system now reward skill... it's exactly the opposite; it used to reward skills for you no matter the ring number and now it rewards "participation" in kills that you did nothing for AND do not reward early kills. That's quite the opposite of rewarding skill... it rewards ratting and going to end game NOT skill. It's so easy to kill a solo rat at endgame or win a 3 v 2 and you get rewarded more for that than winning a clean 3 v3 in the first 2 rings.

    @Ghost_SkgHonestly, I just think kills when you finish bottom half should be worth more. I like the idea of being rewarded for your teammates staying alive and doing well, they just emphasized it a little too much. Somebody with 8 kills finishing in 11th place should get more RP than they do now.
