Apex Needs Solos/ Duos!

Yes! There is really no reason with how long this game has been out that these modes have not been put in yet. Sometimes you don't have any friends on to play with and don't want to have to play with bad randoms. Or sometimes you don't want to play with anyone else. Solos was amazing when it was put in, all other .major battle royales have this mode so why is apex still not putting them in. We are way past a beta at this point

Prolonged queue time. There is one reason for you right there. Might probably not be an issue on EU, NA, and Asian servers, but on the less populated servers,  dividing the player queuing for a game can really mess it up for everyone.

It will also result in a larger player base because there are people who have stopped playing because of the lack of different game modes. Plus you can swap servers if you want to anyway from the main menu. All the other major ones have it and dont run into these issues, it would definitely be manageable.

Maybe, who knows? In the perfect world, all game modes on all maps for single, duo, 3-man, 4-man, for ranked and unranked, would be available with enough players in the queue so noone had to wait in lobby.  I just know, from my own experience, that the queue time for a normal game on the Sao Paolo and Australia server can be several minutes on early mornings, and its almost impossible to find a diamond game, even at normal hours.

Also, adding duo and/or solo, will ofc have secondary effects on the other game modes, apart from just splitting the player base. If duos were added together with normal 3-man, a significant part of those two-man premades who now gets teamed with solo randoms would disappear from the 3-man squad queue, thus increasing queue time for those who queues 3-man, and also forcing solos to play in 1+1+1 full solo team vs premade 3-man squads (which I at least think the current matchmaking system tries to avoid). Same argument goes if they added solo mode together with 3-man mode. Now imagine if solo, duo and 3-man were available at the same time, based on the same mechanics =).

All I'm saying is the other games have all managed it, when solos came around for a few weeks it didn't affect the other game modes ques as far as my experience went. But again you can switch servers from the main menu if you wanted to anyway so your que times would be faster. Not having it ruins the game experience for a lot of people because of the fact you have to play with 3. You que up by yourself, both your teammates die and leave, now it's you left to fight squads of 3 when instead you should just be playing solos but you cant because that is not an option. I personally know 4 people that dont play apex anymore because of the lack of different modes.

Yes, I dont argue about solo and duo mode per se. Like I said; I think it would be great if there was a various different game modes, maps and team constellations to choose from.  I just answered your first sentence "There is really no reason with how long this game has been out that these modes have not been put in yet".  Longer queue time is one reason.

And just for the record (not that important but I still have to say it =) , your logic is a little bit flawed here when you say that a hypothetical solo mode would lead to a larger player base as a counter argument to the longer queue mode argument. Because if it is the solo mode that attracts those new players, then those new players will queue in the solo mode queue, thus still resulting in less players in the random 3-man queue =)
