Apex number of issues

So I really can’t be the only one having a number of issues on console as far as Apex Legends. First off, why is apex getting more attention on PC than console? I play on PS4 as well. I’ve NEVER had a single issue playing apex on PC. It’s incredible. However, on console? Hundreds of problems left and right.

first off, ranked. I see they started to penalize people for leaving but, is it really necessary to be penalized for leaving when the team landed on one part of the map and that lingering 3rd is across the map despite there being a SOLO mode?

second issue, Caustic. I’ve noticed every legend but Caustic has received ‘decent’ attention as far as their abilities not working. Now for the past 3 days I see people hugging the traps and they don’t go off many times. I’ve also noticed they don’t go through things like stair railings, AC unit a or whatever those giant things are on top of buildings, you can get in top of something and avoid the ult but not dropping down, it hardly does damage, and the #1 issue, people will run through his gas and see clear as day through it (I’m often on the side of running through it). Yet my team (when I’m the caustic) will get hit by it pretty badly while the enemy again, runs through it completely in phased.

And 3, this is probably the worst issue...

hit detection. I’ve gotten 2 shotted by a flatline, 4 by a R-301 (with blue armor and a purple helmet), 1 shorted by a G7 (grey armor and grey helmet) etc...

I shoot someone point blank with a peacekeeper for 6-8 damage, a purple r99 mag with top attachments and only do 108 point blank but from mid range or long I’ve shredded 150 off people with 20 rounds still in my mag, I did 189 to someone with a blue shield on and he turns around and kills me (he didn’t heal because I was chasing him down)...

I mean, I have NEVER had these type of issues on PC.

last match I threw my gas at a downed lifeline (challenge purposes) and went to kill their last teammate. I noticed something rather odd, I didn’t see the gas. I hear it, but I didn’t see it. Me and my teammates walk out and not only me, but me teammates don’t see the gas either and I didn’t get a single hitmarker for it.

I have to say, it is very odd that a game would be neglected so badly on one platform. And try to report a bug to them... I’ve literally had a “it happens” response and a ticket closed. I still remember the guys name, Sakshi. The support is quite awful too. I’m actually quite flabbergasted that the support could be so useless and unwilling to help. Furthermore I was told to contact PS despite it not being a PS problem.

words cannot describe how shockingly bad Apex is on console and how neglected it is.

I’m a big PS guy but stuff like this makes me shift towards PC.

P.s- the report button does not work 80% of the time on PS4.

Check this. 3 hits with WM usually 135 max. Only in game he only fired once, I thought longbow at time then there the rather low PK hit which was also interesting as I used an alternator, and nothing else. I think the game is fun... [Removed - CM] hilarious on occasions, Just accept it's terrible at adding up!

Start of new game we both land near shed. he gets the gun first... fair enough.

But we do start with 100 hp right? no apparently it's [Removed - CM] random.

Yes, I have had this issue on multiple occasions. I’ll get into a gunfight and think I’m about to knock someone, only to go down myself by 1-2 shots. The recap screen will then add up to less than amount of health I should have.
Ive given this a lot of thought, and I can’t come up with a solution. Even a 10% damage increase / reduction on certain characters doesn’t add up to the differences in damage vs shield health. Maybe I was head shotted and the recap only lists the damage that a normal body shop would have done? But that wouldn’t be great game logic...
It is astounding though how’s many problems there have been with this game since day 1 that are still unresolved. Be it audio, code errors, hit tracking, etc. I’m not really sure what the devs work on other than their twitter profiles.

That’s rather odd, because last time I tried to speak to a representative, he closed my ticket before I could even present my screenshots/videos. His name was Sakshi and then told me to report it to PS, which is even more odd for obvious reasons...
Some may say I may be over exaggerating but I’ve lost quite a large amount of trust here.

I just fought 3 people killed one and downed another with caustic and check this out, no kills, 13 seconds, no damage and 39 Xp...
It’s very difficult to continue wanting to play the game with these issues. Massive difference from console to PC. My question is, why is console being neglected so badly vs PC?

@EA_Blueberry I had a challenge that said deal damage as <legend> and the first game I played I did like 237 and the challenge reflected this, however the end result just said I did 73 damage. It keeps doing that, where the damage isn't accurate and sometimes the damage isn't showed in the results if the person goes a few seconds without being shot.
