Apex origins currency card

I purchased an Apex origins coins card at Gamestop and NOWHERE does it specify the platform. I followed the instructions on the back of the card to redeem the card and it put it in my EA account, which I cannot use on the PS4. I discussed this with EA via chat and they were unable to help - apparently they couldn't refund my money or transfer it. The only option I was left with was purchasing the coin package on the PC using my account and hoping they would show up in my PS4 game (since it's all one account). It doesn't appear to have worked and it appears my $20 may be lost. Does anyone have a solution to this?
