Apex's biggest problems
Ever since launch there have been 3 major issues I have had with this game. 1 has been partially fixed, one looks like it may be getting fixed next week and im hoping Respawn will fix the third soon....

@RockScorpion384 The body shields don’t completely decide fights, and aren’t completely rng. You can beat someone with a better body shield, you just have to approach it differently.
Plus, if they all have good body shields, it’s probably because they’ve been fighting more squads, or because they took the risk of going to a vault.
Weapon balance is a problem, but this seems a bit exaggerated. You still can beat higher tier weapons with lower tier weapons, again, you just need to approach it right.

Don’t get me wrong though, these are genuine problems and should be fixed.
- @Sir_Named Not from my experience and a lot of players experience. As i said put 2 equally skilled players in a 1v1, body shields will be the difference maker and thats stupid due to the fact body shields are literally RNG. You have no control over what level body shield you are going to get, some games you may immediately find a purple, others you might not see anything above white. Ive had SO many games where we're in the final 3 squads and the highest body shield on our team is blue, while 2 of us are still on white
Nobody with a p2020 is gonna be beating someone with an r99 lol- @RockScorpion384 The body shields can often be the difference, if they use the same approach. Unfortunately, other approaches aren’t as rewarding, such as camping or attempting a stealth attack. Plus, you can third party.
I’m not sure what you do during games, but it could be you need to get into fights more or third party or something like that.
Yeah nobody with p2020 can beat r-99, that’s a rather extreme example, but if the r-99 player doesn’t have shields, there is a chance. (With hop-up)
I meant more like r-301 and r-99 or something like that.- @Sir_Named Yeah but r301 is mid tier while r99 is top tier, im picking extremes because despite them being 'extremes' they occur extremely frequently. If p2020 vs r99 levels of extreme were a 1 in 100 games example it wouldnt be as much of an issue but it isnt, its like 1 in 3-5 games that happens. I also think despite 1 in 100 being a low % it would still be too high, having a mozambique/p2020/alternator should never put you at a disadvantage ever. They should all be viable weapons all the time.
There shouldnt be unviable weapons in a competitive game, especially one that revolves around luck and RNG. All weapons should be equally viable in all scenarios except drop weapons since they only appear late game to make the game end faster.
@Sir_NamedAlso, why should a low skill player be winning fights against a high skill player because that low ranked player found purple shield, while the high rank player only could find a white. Im willing to bet body shields decide more fights than weapons actually do its that bad. I have so many personal experiences where despite me playing extremely poorly I still won the engagement because my opponent had to hit an extra 5+ shots compared to me so me missing a couple couldnt be punished at all. Also the opposite happens so frequently, I'll read the death notes to see what happened and I will have shot 180 damage into the opponent when he only shot 160 into me. He won because he had a better body shield, no other reason.
