Are there any plans to make skill based matchmaking a thing?

I'd like to know if there will ever be skill based matchmaking in apex legends ?

If i didn't have to solo queue against 3x double preds/ masters that would be great!

I would even enjoy NOT getting pounded by a wraith or octane with 50000 kills.

Like if we could maybe find a way to put ppl with similar ranks into the same lobby that would be really good!

I wouldn't mind fighting 4k 20bomb ppl if i ever hat the chance to grind for them...

If i play a low pick rate/trash character i have 200 kills on why the hell am i matched with * xXx_TTV_zoomergod_ with 60000 kills on wraith because its his * job to play the game?

If you put streamers and youtubers into low skill lobbies why can't you give them AI controlled enemies so they can upload their 20 bomb every day and we can have a nice time fighting normal ppl?

I play the game when i have free time i like to grind for the stuff but the last time i really had fun in apex was a long time ago....maybe never!

    Every pub is the same, you get two absolute potatoes who serves as human shields at best and theres always 2-3 skilled premade teams in every lobby killing everyone. Solo queue is just there for easy KP but hey shut up and buy our skins for 20 $ each.

    This game is made for teams only and streamers not for us pub players. Just did 12 games and the teams I get are just terrible over and over. It seems to me every time you win a game you will have to at least get this amount of crap teams before you give up. It's deliberate to keep you playing and searching for that win so you get that "additive feeling of winning".

    Also the more you play the more likely you are to spend money on skins. This is all that matters to them not how you feel about matchmaking. They will never change it no matter how crap it is. It is setup for the purpose of keeping you hooked in and spending 

    EDIT: in the 17 or 18 games I played one person dropped 1000 damage. Maybe I should buy APEX coins lol

    It’s so hilarious to see most people in here blaming their “bad teammates” but in reality they’re probably the ones who are trash and causing the loss 😂

    @Ge0hDude who is blaming teammates. There just is not skill based matchmaking. Has nothing to do with teammates.
