As a solo que player since season 4 the answer is not always. That was until 4 or 5 seasons ago when I noticed whether in ranked or pubs it was consistently low level teammates and diamond to predator opponents. I usually make diamond in ranked and have a 1.0 kdr to 1.5. After this change I was lucky to end a season in a positive kdr. It can be frustrating when you have teammates standing in the open taking damage from ranged weapons and dying
I typically play for an hour or so every couple of days. Love the mechanics and gun play. Duos no fill seems stale for some reason. So trios and make the best of it. Then I am done for awhile.
Really hoping the rumors about tf3 are true. Then you get the mechanics without the bs.
Oh yes =) But I wont complain until I reached around my peak rank. This was a silver 2 match so it would be rather stupid of me to demand that my teammates should be better than silver 2 average, especially since I obviously can 1v3 most of the fights, meaning that the average enemy player was also at this level =)
I believe that most players who actually believe they are better than the majority of their teammate and who is NOT technically smurfing like I am (due to inactivity and resets) are quite dilutional. Its easy to only remember your good game and conveniently forget all the matches that you died first with 0 dmg dealt hehe. But those players probably blame their teammates for that too. I dare anyone who claims that they are always better to actually record 15-20 consecutive matches and valuate the results.
