Arena’s Shop is a Failure/Suggestions
The Arena is not fun, its just a sweat fest where you spend more time purchasing the same guns every round instead of actually playing the game
Apex Legends should of took the Rogue Company approach instead of Valorant’s, on Rogue Company you purchase one weapon and then spend the rest of the game upgrading it but nah you took the valorant approach where you have to buy the same weapon over and over and over.... that is not fun I admit its useful when you decide to switch weapons but I feel like this should be an OPTION instead of being mandatory, just let us keep the same loadout as the previous match but add a ‘’sell button’’ that will fully refund you so you are able to swap to a new weapon or get different heals if you want to... its only been one day and I’m already burnt out because of the shop design because it is terrible and some weapons like the bow should cost a lot more because of how strong they are and should be reserved for late game
Overall the Arena still has potential to be a success, its just that the shop design isn’t user friendly for the long term and the matchmaking can be a little unfair at times... you also need to introduce 10 minute matchmaking penalties like in ranked because players tend to leave early (I’m guilty of this myself but on Rogue Company I know there is a penalty for it so I don’t do it, I also think you should add a ‘’surrender option’’ because of the penalty feature because if your against a 3 stack you don’t want to lose 3 games in a row so you might as well allow us to vote if we want to surrender or not instead of receiving a penalty for it)
