@Flixvaderr The system is indeed broken and they have mentioned they were going to attempt a change at some point, perhaps later this season but I can’t recall. I think if a person is only getting +12 it means their MMR is maxed out and the game thinks their skill level is at its peak compared to who they are fighting.

The irony of not being able to pair with gold as Diamond is the game has absolutely matched me with gold players in Diamond lol.

I think a change to point system like you said would be good because I do think damage and performance does need to count for something, but it would need to be tuned to prevent boosting. The advantage of arenas is that the time is much shorter per round usually so not as easy to stay in one place for too long.

However the priority needs to be matchmaking intelligence and pairing people with others close to their rank or skill. I had a 4400 damage game once with like 11 kills that we lost in the very last round because our third was level 30 something and had to be bronze or silver rank based on they way they acted in-game
