Armour/Shields are too powerful.

Shields/armour seem to be so powerful already, (especially on the thinner model characters) with the limited amount of ammo you have per mag it feels like the TTK is really drawn out. 

It's frustrating pumping a full mag to get through someones armour just for them to run off and recharge with their teammates. 

Other than this the game is great.

    I just feel like the weapons have too low dmg, especially the heavy ones. The only ones that are balanced here are the shotguns. They do a ton of dmg, but only up close.

    The HEAVY Sniper for example is super slow, low ammo count, higher recoil, yet still cant kill a purple armor with 5 chest shots. Thats just a weak gun, not armor being too powerful.

    Light Automatics etc, should not be able to punch through armor quickly at long+ ranges. Right now there is almost no guns that punch through purple or orange armor using the default magazine even if u hit every bullet (that might not be completely true). Idk, I dont feel like armor is too good, just long range weapons being weak.

    That's a good point and tweaking the damage on SOME weapons would help the issue. 

    However, the problem with raising the gun damage across the board is that people without armour will die way too quickly. 

    The ttk for unarmoured targets is perfectly fine.

    The issue I see is some fights feel like it's coming down to how much damage is mitigated; and in long range battles, who has more shield recharges.

    At the moment it feels too reliant on having 4 stack armour. It should give you an edge definitely, but the values are too high in my opinion. Makes you feel invincible in alot of situations.

    Well you if we take the Heavy DMR. Idk the damage values, but lets say its 75dmg per shot. 150 for headshots. (Hypothetical)

    Upping it to 90 will not kill the enemy even at no armour, but it will help to shred more armour late game as most will have legendary or epic armours and helmets anyways, and if u dont, then u already done goofed. Looting is a part of the game balance. Ur not looting? Then sry, u wont be as powerful, unless ur really lucky.

    The Heavy DMR btw, if u havent tried, has a pretty slow rate of fire, and if 2 shots are still a kill at no armour and 5 shots are still a kill with epic armour, then at least when buffed, they are gonna have to either heal for longer and for more, or die because your own allies could finish him since his hp was not at 80 this time, but instead at 40.

    Not denying that gear should have an impact. I'm just saying it shouldn't be as strong as it is atm. 

    Some guns will need to be tweaked accordingly yes, but this isn't about the weapon damage. It's completely fine against unarmoured targets.
