The introduction of the blink for Ash was a failure. If it functions properly, it becomes OP, and if it is nerfed, it becomes a mere shell and becomes significantly inferior to other movement characters.
The blink might have been an attractive feature, but it was a performance that was too powerful for us to handle. The current situation, where it cannot be adjusted, clearly tells the story.
I believe Ash should be returned to her previous state before the introduction of the blink. At the same time, her class should be returned to Assault.
Failure is proof that developers took on a challenge. There is no need to be ashamed. A true professional is one who faces failure and makes improvements.
Don't worry, they'll never admit their mistakes, and they've made plenty of them. I keep reading threads on Reddit about how much they (players) want to spam movement abilities even more, how they want to constantly buff their mains.
I even read a while ago that people were complaining that Octane was terrible again. Do you understand that? People are acting like children. You give them a finger, and the next thing they know, they want the whole arm. Octane is still great, and some people wrote that after the nerfs, he's terrible again. Sometimes I can't believe what I'm reading.
Respawn needs to learn one simple thing - buffs shouldn't be overdone, because then people get used to them and after a nerf there is a huge complaint that their character is weak again (which is obviously not true).
I agree that Ash should either go back to her original version or stay where she is. She SHOULD NOT have an improved dash, because it ruins the game, and we all remember what happened in the Ash/Ballistic/Alter meta. Ash simply couldn't be caught. It was sick and took too long. Let's never go back to that.
