Auto sprint not working

So, auto sprint isn't working for me. First off, yes I have it enabled in my settings. I have turned it off and turned it back on multiple times. My bf is having the same issue. I can't run and when I do it's only for a few seconds and it will stop running and I will walk. Even by pressing my sprint button it still does it. If I slide or jump it stops me from running. It's getting my killed constantly because like I said, even if I press my sprint button, I stop running. Is anyone else having an issues similar to this?
