avoid duo option.

can we have an option to avoid duo stacks. there is no reason a player that solo queue would ever want to play with a duo stack.

  • I get the issue at hand, though this could increase queue times by a lot... for both sides.

It's not only you that's getting longer queue times, it's other people too.

If every solo player avoids duo's, that means that duo's cannot get a game since there isn't a solo player to fill the third slot.

This means you can either only go solo or trio for normal queue times, whilst duo players get punished for no reason.

That's not a problem elsewhere, this exact system you're proposing would be the problem.

You're limiting the players that can get grouped together in a team, this means there are less players to choose from.

In low populated regions or certain ranks the queue times will be hit severely.

I see you, and I raise: how about the game automatically puts two stacks in duos mode, locking them out of trios.

@reconzero That’s not very fair, considering that they might want another on their team, but none of their other friends are online. You could put premades with premades, weather it’s a duo or a full trio, the duo will likely communicate with the other on their team, on open coms. That I think would be the most fair solution, and still retain quick q time.

I know that fairness is a thing. It's just that currently I'm out of patience with the two stacks, most of whom are in private chat, discord, whatever, and will stay that way until they have something inappropriate to say, even though they refuse to jump with their jumpmaster or do anything other than find the earliest possible opportunity to die. Rant over.
  • @XHelperZ I like that you tell me the problem that would be elsewhere :D if all solo players avoid duo stacks should duos even be allowed? if no1 wants to play with them why would you make games worse. it ruins the duos game and it ruin the solos game. lets say some solo wants to play with duo then they still can and the others avoid them.

@BigMacAttack8u trust me 99% of the duos just play with them self and refuses to help the solo player. this is also the reason i want the option.

@Danskermand When I’m in a pre-made duo, and playing in trios, it’s always the third that runs into a fight. We ping that we’ll get them, but then they ditch, because they don’t think we will get them. Even though we pinged we would get their banner. I would recommend changing your perspective for a second, and try to see the duos perspective on the situation.

@BigMacAttack8u thanks for you because you agree with me. sounds to me it is bad for you to play with solos so even more reasons to make this option
