I'm still seeing some high ping times starting with the 2nd hop. I think this is resulting in the higher pings that can cause disconnects/lag further down the list. Have you tried using alternate DNS settings? Those instructions are here. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

This causes an issue, you were on server #1, but you are forced to connect to a further server.
This to me, makes sense as the ping could say "50", and I start a match and it then says "103", then the next match would say "87", and so on. - TheApexLegendNu4 years agoNot applicable
@Midnight9746They don’t really care about how close or how far away you are from the server, all they seem to care about is getting you faster queue times so you don’t give up waiting and log off
Personally I would rather wait for a closer server and/or a server with players that are closer to my skill level instead of faster queue times with practically anyone from level 1 to masters rank where it feels like SBMM has been turned off and the server is too laggy to even play on - NiceOneChamp4 years agoNot applicable

Sadly, it seems like staff such as @EA_Aljo won't even acknowledge the servers have issues. If the CM's are gaslighting users to avoid acknowledging the problem, the odds of a fix or change are probably very low (I tried to suggest they acknowledge the issue, giving them the benefit of the doubt - and was summarily ignored - so draw your own conclusions).
