Badge farming by running away in Elite queue

Okay, so this is becoming a real problem. People in Apex Elite queue are farming the badge only by running away from fights constantly. This means they will never fight, don't help their teams, and will just run away until they get top 5 to farm the streak badge. Basically, they consistently get top 5 with 0 damage. I'm gonna guess this certainly was not what was intended when Respawn introduced the streak badge, but this should've been anticipated. Maybe a minimum damage of some sort could be introduced to stop this behavior, or something similar.
