@Sarrgeras I think you're missing Eeninee's point(s), probably intentionally. S/he is saying they think Apex should pair similar ability players together, and whatever metric EA uses to determine that ability is up to them and their coders. A simple K/D pairing might work, because leveling does not account for grinding. S/he is also probably experiencing a hack or two, judging from headshot damage while sliding or in the air, and there's not much anyone can do against blatant cheating. The ranked system in theory should create a sub-bracket for the top players to only face top players. "Load of programs to help your aim" - like what? You're saying there are Apex programs to help you play Apex? I don't think there are, but list them if so and thanks for sharing that with the community.
With most games online ive played the skill level is nearly the same as you are. Sometimes those rare chances some one with a lot hours slide in. But as mention above there can be easy ways to match people with your skill level. Even in other games you have the chance to play with your friends if they are better and you just take the L to play with friends cause your now in matches greater then your skill level. Which is also 100% ok it helps improve ones game play. I am sure i have dealt with some cheaters using 3rd party giving the way i was killed. Very well may be chance it was legit why i never claimed people may be using 3rd party as i do see the flaws in their match making with compariable players. I have been doing ranked and am doing quite better with recoil now and such. But im still seeing me as octane with 66 kills brone I being paired with people with 1200 kills up to 600. I am sure this means they are just starting ranked them self but again points to the un fair advantage someone gains going into ranked to play a player they think is like them but ends up with or verse someone with over 100 hours in featured game modes or reg drop mode.
Also to add it is quite hard also to do regular game mode or the new shotgun mode cause you are indeed paired with times with or verse people with 10k kills up to ive seen 26k on my teams. So quite un fair the only shot we as new players have is ranked mode and if it cant be 100% fair where does the balance come in. At the moment its apex tossing everyone in a arena saying have fun dying or living, it is what this game is about but at same time some players are new. Verse making a balanced game mode players can play on. All i am asking is maybe check into a plugin that can check kill death ratio and pair those with their correct form. Even on ranked this can be applied to place people instantly in their correct ranking matches. Even if they are 1000 hours into apex it would place them with people in their kill death ratio till eventually once the new players are catching up to the kill death ratio it will then merge those players into 1. All is normal and fair at this point. I hardly ever play with the same players which also tells me there are a lot qued up very rare do i get same champ ive played with before so there is the player base for this to be done i believe.
i have over 1000 hours into apex and i still get in match with people more writing on forums than trying to get better
