Bangalore 'Bots'
Not sure what forum this should go in but I just wanted to mention, I've played about 8 games today in the last hour on Oregon 1 and have encountered about 6 seemingly ai controlled characters, 4 of ...
From what I'm seeing, it's just users using the exact same script or one person running multiple instances of it.
I doubt they're putting AI in the game as Steamcharts is still reporting a decent amount, of which it can be assumed it's not being botted by EA/Respawn as these would most likely run outside of the Steam platform. (If EA/Respawn were to use Steam to boost their playcount, it would probably violated the ToS of Steam and the game would promptly be removed from the platform, so doubtful too)
These bots move in-game and have the club name [BOT] (And it's only in BR)
A lot of these bots are found outside the orientation matches in both BR and Mixtape, next to them they don't have a bot marker.
I can't cite any sources, but there are a lot of bot/afk scripts out there for farming XP.
If these bots were to be leaking outside of the orientation matches (Which I don't see any reason code-wise for that to happen), they would still have the [BOT] tag.
Next to that it would be a full squad of bots, not single no-fill players.
The website I just looked at said that the bots gamer tags mimic real peoples gamer tags, have you played an orientation match and seen these bot tags first hand? Even if they did they can easily add bots to a lobby and not tell you fortnite did it, why would they tell you honestly it's not a good look

All names include the Bot_ prefix before the names.
There's no reason for EA/Respawn to add these bots themselves, playcount is still completely fine.
People will farm XP on these bot scripts so they can sell the accounts.
Why would people farm xp? it's worthless
