Bangalore Minor Buff

Bang is solid and feels like the most balanced legend although I have a couple of minor ideas that I think could add a touch of flavor to her without changing her much at all.

Smoke Launcher on canister hit still does 10 dmg but causes a quick " stun" similar to the screen shake of a non-direct frag.

This would encourage some more offensive use of the smoke and could serve as a minor advantage for her with the tiny it of extra distraction added to the tactical.

Add another passive - Drops a smoke when knocked the same concept as Mirage cloak when knocked

  • @TQCTV_LeoP The screen shake stun would be good for extra flavor.
I think the extra passive might make Bangalore a little too versatile, but it wouldn’t be that strong so, meh.

@Westhebird I mean, it goes both ways. Bangalore can’t see through her own smoke, but with a digi threat, she can just drop some smoke on someone and laser them.
Kinda like if there’s a Bloodhound. An enemy Bloodhound has an advantage, while a teammate Bloodhound makes the smoke even better.
  • Right, the tactical change wouldn't change much in the ways of her fundamental gameplay but it would add the tiniest bit to it.

But a passive that allows Bang to drop a smoke when she gets knocked could improve her survivability a bit and I'm unsure if that would become too strong.

When  Bangalore gets knocked and drops a smoke it would cause the enemy to have to make a decision. Push to get the kill although they lose line of sight or play it safe and not rush into the smoke giving her team time to revive her or use the smoke to heal. Looking at it that way you could capitalize off having a more aggressive Bang on the team.

As I think about it to avoid being overly powerful they could shrink the size of the smoke cloud in comparison to the tactical and put a cooldown between activations.

    Ex:

Bang gets knocked - smoke deploys - bang gets revived.

Then immediately Bang gets knocked again (The worst feeling smh)

but there's a cooldown between the next passive activation 90secs

The goal is to not be knocked down anyway so a long cooldown would be suitable for this passive
