Well 2 days ago my account got banned without any email explaining why and for how long. The only thing I used in the prior days which I haven't used for months was the in-game overwolf overlay stat tracker.https://tracker.gg/apps?overwolf=apexThere is no claim anywhere that this is a cheat program. Can someone from EA actually help me with this ban instead of sending me the template emails from TOS about how they checked and confirmed the account was cheating?P.S. It wasn't even intended use, I was playing League of Legends and overwolf was running for Facecheck stat program which is perfectly legal there, after launching Apex the apex stat tracker got launched and I just left it running in the background.It seems to me the TOS team isn't even reading emails because they didn't answer a single question, just a template response.

Well then the famous app facecheck for League of Legends can be called the biggest cheat of all, brcause it tells you much more about your opponents than simply their rank stats. The reason it is not considered a cheat is because it is an overwolf app not marketed as a cheat, but as an information tool which anyone can use. Same applies for this tracker I guess. You can gain advantage in Apex in many other ways by simply changing certain visual settings which allow you to identify and spot opponents on the field easier vs the default settings. Ill tell you one of them for example, turning off AA makes opponents more shiny and sharp. Many other ways to gain advantage exist such as using 144hz displays, better hardware headphones etc... So should we get banned for using them and gaining an advantage?

You can kiss your account goodbye buddy. A buddy of mine got banned awhile back, same stuff. Template responses over and over again.Couldn't even tell him what caused the EAC to flag his account. He even had a few buddies that are great friends with EA. He even had a meetingwith them to figure it out and they told his friend that they have no clue what caused it to flag, but since it did, they will ALWAYS side with their EAC system.I've actually seen a lot of people i know get banned for no reason at all, just EAC flaw that they won't admit to.Sorry man but if my buddy couldn't get it back with an insider trying to help him, i can almost guarantee you won't either.

@FlickspeedIn my oppinion that is considered cheating if it tells you your enemys kills before you fight them, if it was only your kills/damage and your teammates it would be fine but by enemies im assuming that means the whole lobby so cheating’’getting an edge on your opponents to see who you are still up against’’most stat trackers are trash though everytime Ive typed in my name on an app it either dosnt find my name or shows me stats from 6 months ago so unless its accurate it may not be cheating at the same time

@FaIIenAngeI777 I guess knowing who you're up against would give you a knowledge advantage but in terms of an actual advantage... I dunno. I mean, Overwolf doesn't tell you how your opponent plays, right? 'Cause that be a cheat advantage (imo). I just don't see how knowing who you're up against could actually help you, unless you look at the entire lobby and they're all sweats, then you'd know to play it slow and not rush in, but anywhere in between and you'll just have to guess, especially since you can't see their handle in game.

Got 2 identical generic replies from your so called TOS team. Trying a third time to actually get a non generic reply into my case. This is totally unacceptable that EA is allowed to get away with this type of behavior and treatment of its customers! Someone will soon enough take action against this and make them pay.

@Flickspeed I wonder if it's the fact that it tells you how many are left in the final 3. Since it hides that information, I can see that being cheating.

Not to mention that it's an overlay and most likely got flagged for such.

Yes the fact it is an overlay is what has me thinking... I finally got a different response from EA which sounds a bit more hopeful that they will actually reviw it, but is still generic...

I got banned as well, friend. Someone hacked my account then got a 20 bomb and peaced...All my progress and gear forever lost in the great banned account abyss. I had to start over and it hurt to do so, but after dealing with the EA overlords I'm never spending another dollar on this game. Add Jim Varney for some SWED pizza action.
