Nope. Its exactly as its described in the blog post. Getting shot through recently closed doors and "around corners/cover" has to do with high ping player still having line of fire to you on THEIR screen even though you are in cover on YOUR screen. Code net is the general word the game is using to describe certain connectively issues, which both can be client sided and server sided but has nothing to do with ping per se. You can play with 200 ping and not get kicked out. Ive done that many times when messing around in other regions than my own.
But I agree that the overall advantages you get playin with high ping doesnt outweigh the disadvantages. But the point is not which gives most advantages, its about that allowing high ping players in the lobby create alot of nonsense situation, just like the developers says in the blog post. Thats what I am against.
What is exactly happening when you shoot at someone, yet miss enough shots (as far as you knew), where it wouldn't knock the enemy, but shortly afterwards they get knocked, and it said it was by you?
I've had it happened a few times now, where I would go to reload, and they would get knocked, and times where they run behind a door, I would reload, and somehow they got knocked that way.

Hrm its very hard to understand exactly what you mean without watching a clip of such incident. You say there is a significant amount of time between your "last" shot that lands and when the enemy is knocked? Sounds really weird and I havent experienced that myself.BTW I just found this tweet from Respawn. Pretty old but they literally confirm here there are netcode issues when playing against certain players with "bad connections". But please keep in mind that they are not explaining exactly what they are talking about so perhaps we shouldnt jump to concussion about either what the netcode issues are or if "bad connections" means high ping and/or just unstable connections etc etc.

The delay is like a second or two before the other player is knocked.- Balladalidila3 years agoSeasoned Ace
Hrmm unless something random like they getting hit my one tick of circle dmg that knocks them I never experienced this, at least not 1-2 seconds after I shot the last bullet. But when you mentioned it, I have experienced some occasions when I spray and the knock comes as a pleasant surprise literally from the last bullet of my spray when I am fairly sure that I need to switch weapon or reload to finish the fight. But then we are talking about like 0.2 seconds into the reload animation and not full seconds.
Haha I cant even tell if you are being serious or sarcastic.
