This removes the advantage without triggering backlash or rapid adaptation. Ranked play would be protected through higher integrity queues that prioritize trusted input behavior, while casual modes remain open, and core game systems would be designed to resist scripting through dynamic, state dependent mechanics that humans can adapt to but scripts cannot. Finally, I would shift incentives by rewarding clean play with better matchmaking quality, exclusive cosmetics, and prestige, while being publicly transparent without revealing detection methods that hardware cheating does not result in dramatic bans but instead leads to a worse and less rewarding version of the game. The goal would not be to eliminate cheaters entirely, but to eliminate the value of cheating so that it becomes frustrating, unrewarding, and self isolating over time.
