Better enemy outlines

Can we please have better outlines for allies and enemies? For me, and I'm sure for many others, I actually have a hard time discerning enemies from the environment and even ally players. Call it a s...

I think they should remove outlines, health bars and/ or spotting myself. Battle Royale shouldn't be easy. Dumb it down enough, it just becomes another deathmatch mode.
Being hard is why BR became so popular. People had to actually use their head, and not rely on on-screen effects so much. Deathmatch nowadays is so casual, people use it for leveling.

Practice should be what players need, not more ingame helpers.

For me BR has far more depth than death match. I went from Halo to Apex and I can’t go back. Arena games are so shallow compared to Apex BR they are now just a boring lap around the track… literally… around the track… over and over again.

Revival is a step back to arena mechanics and is why it must go. Forcing the player to fight or go for their teammates’ banner was such a deep decision moment that I truly miss.

    I know we've talked about this before, but I had to call it out again for a thumbs up. I'd give it more if I could. I miss Halo as a universe, and I definitely miss forging, but I will never miss eight players on two teams in a small venue and a twelve minute timer to erase the enemy as many times as possible. How did I ever think that was fun???

    ​That's kinda my point. Halo nowadays is lacking because the game type became boring because it was dumbed down with all the (so-called) accessibility features.
    Halo when it first went online had proximity chat (so talking ingame to both teams), friendly fire, not many on-screen helpers.

    Now though, Halo Infinite is an accessibility nightmare. A cat could play it, if it accidentally hit the trigger once in a while. Jokes aside, it's dumbed down to the point where no one wants to play it, because the skill ceiling is so low, it doesn't feel rewarding.

    A. Outlines of characters with the ability to change the color directly in the settings. So when you do get a kill, you think less of it because of the outline feature.

    B. Aim assistance, with something known as trajectory bullet magnetism (shots will curve into opponents). This shouldn't have even been considered in modern video games.

    C. Long range scopes have light effects to let the players know someone is aiming at them.

    So this is what it means by making something into Halo in my eyes. You lower the players ability by giving them too many on-screen helpers, you lower the entire gaming experience for the community, then people move on and don't return.

    Apex Legends is in this subtle change phase. If this gets accepted, expect more like it, just like Halo. I do bet that streamers will get these causal features disabled completely for ranked games. None of them make sense in a competitive environment.
