Bloodhound needs a proper rework — half-baked buffs won’t fix this
Body:
Bloodhound is currently one of the weakest legends in high-rank play.
The problem isn’t numbers — it’s design.
In the current meta, where multiple legends provide constant or passive information, Bloodhound’s scan offers very limited value.
Their ultimate also fails to provide enough combat advantage to justify the large hitbox and lack of escape tools.
Small buffs won’t solve this.
Minor cooldown tweaks or slight duration increases only delay the real problem and make future adjustments harder.
If Bloodhound is going to be changed, it needs to be done properly and with a clear concept:
Either give real combat pressure during the ultimate
Or restore meaningful information advantage that justifies the risk
Or redesign parts of the kit to fit the current meta
There are also critical reliability issues.
Bloodhound’s raven mechanic is far too inconsistent.
The information it provides often feels like a gamble rather than a skill-based tool.
Randomness has no place in an information-focused legend, especially in high-rank play.
Additionally, there is a severe track timer desynchronization bug.
The time displayed on tracks and the time shown when pinging those tracks are heavily desynced — they almost never match.
This makes it impossible to accurately judge how recent enemy movement actually is.
This is not a minor UI issue.
It directly breaks Bloodhound’s core gameplay loop and forces players to guess — something an information legend should never rely on.
There is also a broader issue with the Recon class itself.
Bloodhound’s ultimate highlights enemies in red, but this is no longer unique.
All Recon legends now provide similar enemy highlighting without needing to activate an ultimate.
As a result, another defining strength of Bloodhound’s ultimate has been effectively removed.
At this point, activating Bloodhound’s ultimate turns them into little more than a normal legend with slightly increased movement speed.
The Recon class should be strengthened in a way that clearly differentiates Bloodhound’s ultimate from baseline Recon abilities.
Bloodhound’s ultimate needs a distinct and meaningful advantage — otherwise, there is no reason to use it over other Recon legends.
Right now, Bloodhound requires more effort than most legends for less reward.
That’s not balance — that’s neglect.
Please stop doing half measures.
If you rework Bloodhound, commit to it.
