the mid-season bot royale SBMM update is awful. All the casual players hate it. you have to wait longer becuase you need to have 5 full teams and one of the 5 teams is always much stronger than all the other teams. This was done by design.

...and the devs don't care.

I don't like to be cynical, but it really feels like you're right. Terrible mode right now. The opposite of what it purports to be. BAIT AND SWITCH, RESPAWN. Bait. And. Switch.
