Missing Items

I bought a Lifeline edition code from a reseller, redeemed it on my account, and now have the addon in my installed game addons for Apex Legends. However, after reaching out to support for 3 hours, I've been told there is nothing they can do and to make a community post expressing my frustration and annoyance at this issue. I have redeemed the code in the EA app, launched the game,  played a game, received nothing, I have cleared my cache, reinstalled the game, signed in and out, and still have received nothing. I don't understand how there can be a working redeemable code that grants me the addon, but not the items, I tried the AI support, that was useless, I reached out to 2 support members and got redirected to another higher ranking one, the first support member was of no use and closed my ticket without even letting me speak, the 2nd suport member got me in touch with another one and he told me how there was nothing he could do on his end. I am at a loss for words in this situation. I was going to buy more keys for other items, but this situation has made me sway away. I still don't understand how I can redeem a working code, get the addon, but still not get the items. I am now making a forum post, hoping others can help and/or share their opinions, and maybe a community manager might help me.
