when season 9 dropped and introduced Arenas, it was just love at first sight. it was like the battle royal experience but no third party, no random to no weapon at start or someone else having better loot then you. this gamemode ran on nothing but skill and knowledge, who ever won was simply better and that’s why I fell in love with it. it was absolutely the perfect gamemode to warm up before hopping into a ranked match, then they added arenas ranked and was able to hit diamond the first season , I was getting so good that I was actually able to hit masters on arenas before I ever hit masters in br and it felt so good. It felt like I was best at that game, it was that game I was best at. I was absolutely addicted to it and I could never understand all the hate it got, if you didn’t like just don’t play it. But I was baffled when I saw they took the gamemode out I didn’t know what to do. Don’t even get me started on those mixtape gamemode because can’t even compare or come close.
i just miss it so much and I would love for it to come back forever.
to the devs that made that gamemode thank you so much, it was the best game I’ve ever played, if apex legends was just Arenas I would be on daily. I my eyes arena could be its own game, with balance updates and new maps there was so much replay ability. And it’s not like every match you jump into is gonna be that same thing, you never knew if you were gonna stomp the other team or them stomp you or the most intense game ever and your on sudden death. Overall I just loved it and thanks for the experience.
