Ranked Match Improvement Proposal

In Ranked Matches, many teams engage early, leading to a rapid decrease in squad numbers. How about varying the entry cost for Ranked Matches each round? For example, returning to the lobby in Zone 1 could cost 1.5 times the entry fee.

If people want to engage early... and return to the lobby with a loss... then why try to incentivize them to do something else? Why is it somehow anti-competitive or un-fun to have relatively few squads in the final circles?
