Broken Promises & Refunds (a message to apex devs)

Dear Apex devs,

with the recent leaks that reveal you will be reusing models from previous battle passes(BP), and just slapping on a different color, I'm now requesting/persuing a full refund for every battle pass (BP) I've spent money on.

One of the major selling points for the Apex BP has been stated on many occasions, that BP rewards are exclusive to their seasons and will not come back again.

Since you are choosing to recolor original battle pass MODELS, you are breaking your own rules by taking the exact same models that are unobtainable outside of their battle passes and adding a new color scheme.

For those that say "it's just a recolor and not the same skin," you are wrong. The model is part of the skin and as I said before the models being used are unique to their seasons and unobtainable outside of their seasons.

I would like to hear from a dev or support team member to address this issue.

Note: I will not respond to those that ignore everything I've said, or post personal attacks/troll comments.

That's a naive thing to be mad about. Respawn just like millions of other companies are in it just for the money. Respawn uses their skills on a gamble of return, it's not even forced to make people pay to use their product.

I find it amazingly odd someone cares if they reuse assets. Using the same assets has a double bonus, costing less and requiring less space to store the data for the user.

If a game is 100% free to play, I don't care what they do with cosmetic items. As shady as EA has been in the past with used games and high DLC costs, it hasn't yet done the COD Warzone way and added lazer effects to bullets with tracer rounds.

Dear god yes, false advertisement is literally all over the place... it's called marketing. Nothing to be upset about, just naïve.

@Psn388 You bought all battle passes knowing full well everything that comes with it as the company allows you to view everything it can grant you. With that being said you knew exactly what you was buying and agreed to buy it.

The world dont work that way. Def when you bought it knowing full and well everything it included. Its not naive its petty. There is a difference. You are being petty because a battle pass does not cater to your needs. Easy solution. Dont buy it.

@Psn388Ive gave them thousands. No sweat off my back tbh. I get what i paid for every single time. I know what im paying for every single time. There is no wish wash.

Orig color skins are just that the original skins. When you buy a recolor this does not mak it an original skin this makes it a recolor copy of the original. Lets not forget in order to even buy recolors you have to own the original skin.

I have all rights to be more upset then you as how much ive dropped just for heirlooms to be given 2 i didnt want while players now have the option to choose. You over here talking about 10 bucks.... You spend more then that on your dinners most likely. Its petty. When you go out to eat at a restraunt do you ask for a refund because the burger does not look like its picture? Or do you eat it? Because its false advertising.

Also like to note Devs play zero roll into cosmetics. There is design teams for this very thing. Devs who are program and code the game for you to be able to play on it.

@E9ine_AC The model is part of the skin and the BP models being recolored are unique to their seasons and unobtainable outside of their seasons. Not only do players spend 10 bucks but many invest a lot of time and effort leveling their battle passes to unlock everything.

@E9ine_AC Answer my previous question with a yes or no: "next time you buy something and it's not what was advertised, are you not going to want a refund?"
