Broken ranked matchmaking!

This is still an issue.  How do I have a full squad of silver players when another squad (the one who killed us) is all gold players?  You couldn't mix it up so at least one of the gold players was on our team and one of the silver players was on that team?  If it is a premade squad, don't que them with silver players.

Apex legend is well known for having the worst and most unfair matchmaking of any FPS , and the lobbies are so empty in high rank that platinium are dragged into pred lobbies.

also respawn only cattering to 3stack and refusing to give solo/duo/trio Q is slowly killing the game.

The problem in a nutshell for ranked modes in any older game with a declining population. When the system doesn't have enough players to fill a lobby with similarly skilled teams then the entire purpose and function of the ranking system is compromised. The worse the imbalances then the worse the compromise. Other games in the past have attempted something like what you suggested - reducing the amount of RP lost by the losers, and also reducing the amount gained by the winners. In the end the "solution" becomes overly complicated, opaque, and in its own way introduces an element of unfairness. Not to mention how it can slow a rank grind to an absolute halt.

The solution is to build a game with a much, much lower skill ceiling. But then "talented" players wouldn't stream it, and kids would just go play whatever other game their streamers were playing. And in that game all these same problems would play out over time. The wheels on the bus....

@BPoff71It is so broken that if you play with teammates and everything goes very well so much so you add them as friends when you will replay with them the cannon fodder matchmaking will put you against even better opponents so you will start losing points again making you rage again and hate the game again. The game is 5 years old we tried it all and still get 0.5 kdr no matter what, no matter the rank, no matter who I play with , cannon fodder matchmaking.

@Palette24caratsIt is really sad because I looooove playing this game when it feels balanced, love all the guns except the charge rifle, love to play each and every one of them it feels fresh to be able to change every game, love every legend, love the movements, the speed, the style, the way you can have a 2nd chance, recharge, respawn, survive in the storm, move with mobile towers, etc

why do you even complain ... we know all to well that Respawn is full aware that they run the game into the ground.
Just a look at the trello board tells you ... only bandaids for stuff nobody really complains about. 
But the tough topics like AA which has been swept under the rug for 5 Years  ...  they knew  the stuff was not balanced for the whole time, but still they had the audacity to talk "competitive integrity".
Same applies to the matchmaking, they tell you a phony story but they wont change it , bcs they are too proud to admit those things are literally code garbage and heavily responsible for the player decline among other things like bad servers/netcode and ofc the cheater situation. 
Sending out player surveys without even touching those major topics also hardens the suspicion they dont really care, despite saying "We hear you".
If they would have listened, we wouldnt complain matchmaking and Aim Assist for 5 years and counting.
