@LetMeVsBotsfrom what I've heard, they figured that if you lose a lot you wanna play more to "redeem" yourself, and thus makes you play more. Then after dragging your face in the pavement for like 15 games, it then goes "okay... fine... I guess you can have good teammates now..." where it lets you win and then drags your face back into the pavement.
Matchmaking and "skill based" has zero cares about balancing, all it cares about is getting players into matches as quickly as possible, while giving some teams an edge over others in terms of what randoms they get, purposly giving good players two noobs, and then put preds in the lobby, or giving the player two decent teammates, and everyone else are casual or bot players who can't aim. These kinds of lobbies are so obvious.- 4 years ago
My k/d this season is only half of what it used to be, and even my win rate dropped quite a lot. I didn't think it was possible, but they still succeed in making the matchmaking worse for me. The vast majority of my teammates has less than 100 kills and then I guess I'm supposed to carry this team with my "average-at-best" skills against really solid players.
So what about some relaxing in the lower ranks then? Wrong! I get the same type of lobbies in bronze/silver ranked because there are 0 things being done against smurfing and most lvl 10 - 20 players are insane at the game.
So yeah, I'm barely touching this game now. A masterpiece of a game being horribly managed, is what it really is. There are far more issues than just the matchmaking and barely any of them are getting addressed. - r1ggedgame4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Midnight9746 "all it cares about is getting players into matches as quickly as possible"
and even that they * up at the Waiting for players screen , you wait literally for minutes until it goes into char selection and still end up with a mate or two missing ...- Midnight97464 years agoHero+
@r1ggedgameI said getting people into a match as quickly as possible, I've said nothing about filling out teams.
Meanwhile I feel like the whole missing teammates thing is just matchmaking's way to give other teams an advantage, while keeping you losing, to later then want to redeem yourself by trying to win the next match.
Basically at this point, I'm assuming the matchmaking can't find anyone who's terrible enough to ensure a loss against the other teams, so it just doesn't give you anyone.
I still believe the matchmaking shoves who it can into a match to get it started, while also setting people up for wins or losses, calling it "RNG".
Ever had a match where your teammates somehow knew what they were doing and you vibed with them well enough that you won the game, while also noticing that everyone else in the lobby acted like noobs or bots?
Yeah I believe those are the lobbies where other teams were dealt the bad hand with teammates.
