Alternator is fine where it at. It's not meant for aggressive play style. It has much more control and tracking style over aggression.
R-99 and Prowler are more aggressive which are the two SMGs you should consider at the moment for your play style.
@Leo_the_Lion25 I understand what you are saying. I would just like another alternative to the R99, kinda gets boring running the same smg all the time.
Agreed the Prowler is a beast and I pick it up all the time, I dont even mind it in burst fire.
Maybe I'm different to others but i like variety and get bored with the same thing all the time.

- @xx_Dante2k_xx Well, putting in more equally viable smgs might be bad, as then you can get high tier weapons easier. Something along those lines.
