On ps4 with controller. So I’m blocking the door to try and get a few seconds to at least reload but even though I have my back against the door it automatically opens when I press the reload/interact button.
If I’m not even looking at the door it really shouldnt open just because I’m close to it.
A small bug that needs to be fixed, is when there's a door near you or you're over some loot, you can't reload your gun. Maybe an automatic reload when you're out of ammo would be a good idea to fix this problem.
The curse of having things tied to one button.
You can't reload near a door because it opens it. You can't reload near a downed teammate because you start rezing. You can't reload near a respawn beacon because you either start respawning someboyd or it says you don't have a teammates banner. Can't reload near a zipline or you'll start using it. Can't reload near pretty much anything that requires you to push square.
Can you please prioritize the x/square button. Too many times have I wanted to reload but I couldn't because there was a downed teamate or door in close vicinity, (both of which use the X/square buttons.)
Another thing that is stupid is when you have the resurrection and close a door and then use the resurrect. The door you just close will be opened and you will get shot in the face instead of the enemy having to spend time kicking the door down.
And yes, it annoying that you grab a banner instead of your gun reloading. Makes you die so many times. I once used a deathbox as cover to dodge bullets and I couldn't reload my weapon because it went into the deathbox for priority. I should have won the fight and not the enemy.
Its * ridiculous that when you're trying to hide behind a door and go to reload it opens the door while you reload. That should not happen. They either need to do a hold to open while your guns are empty or a double tap yo open because its idiotic that this happens.
Solution:
Single Tap to reload
Double Tap to open doors, revive, respawn, and other.
Nuff said,
Double tap to use or Hold to use on Console is just going to make you slow looting items opening bins/doors. This is bad!
I prefer Tap to use/Hold to reload so you can loot fast and hold to reload behind doors.
Weapons automatically reload if you run out of bullets so you don't lose any speed to reload. I'm going to try this option.
