Cancelling Valkyrie's rockets?

Hey community.

Is it just me or there is no way to cancel Valkyrie's ability = rockets?

I have many cases where I want to check whether I can hit an enemy with them in mid/long-range, but after realizing, that it is not possible I am either stuck running around holding the ability button while closing the distance or just wasting rockets altogether.

In my opinion, it should be possible to cancel this by either switching to a weapon - as it works with Seer's ability.

Or if there is already such an option, please advise.
