Just because they are running good sites, etc etc doesn't mean they're actually doing that well.
Note that Apex is a F2P game, so the amount of cheaters will of course be high, as there is almost no risk to losing your account.
Also every change made to their security system is done internally, so there is no way for us of knowing what they're working on and how much they are doing.
I think it's kind of unfair to assume that they're not doing anything, as they could be doing a lot of work for us.
Without them the issue could be way worse, that's for sure.
It's also that a lot of users are really quick to assume someone is cheating, so this also could blow the proportion of cheaters way out of scale.
The cheating issue on Overwatch isn't particularly good either... same goes for Valorant.
Every game will be plagued by them, especially F2P ones.
Whilst you might experience more cheaters on x game and less on y, the exact opposite can be experienced by other users.
I don't know what your comment is supposed to achieve? Telling the OP he needs to change his perspective on being cheated?

You are assuming though, you have no way of knowing which changes they're making as all changes are done internally.
Again, the fact that the problem gets worse doesn't mean that they're doing less or nothing, it just means that there are more players cheating in total.
(As the game grows in total amount of players, the amount of cheaters will also grow)
They're also aware from the UI issue as far I'm aware, though you should still be able to report them.
Alternatively you can also report cheaters via the Discord that Hideouts has, which can be found in the description of the official Twitch channel.
What is my comment supposed to achieve?
Well I'm just trying to say that there is an assumption being made that nothing is being done.
Though in fact, there is no way for us of knowing that, since the total amount of cheaters isn't a correct measurement.
I personally find it quite rude to undermine the work they're doing, as there's no way of knowing how much they're doing.
Of course it's important to remain skeptical, though saying that they're not doing anything at all is a bit far fetched.

I'm sorry man, I got to be that guy... Well we all know how much work they are doing in regards to cosmetics and bundles and so on.
But when it comes to anti cheat, its pretty obvious by now that Respawn is not doing enough. What we don't know for sure is if Respawn really really wants to do more but maybe EA is not allowing them to do so. If only a Dev could remove the gag order.
We also know that having over 200 testers for Apex alone yet only one person banning for one of, if not thee most popular and played BR at the moment - alone, speaks in itself that not enough is being done for a game where the cheating/hacker issue is increasing.
Again, and here me on this... I am in no way saying that "nothing is being done" - What I am saying is that not enough is being done and the evidence speaks for itself.- XHelperZ3 years agoHero+
Hmm yeah I guess that's pretty much spot on then.
Honestly, at this point I'm just making assumptions myself.
Might be the best if they were just to release a blog post on this issue or something similar, at least that we know what they're working on or that they're going to do something.
Also Nick, what do you mean by "yet only one person banning for one of, if not thee most popular and played BR at the moment" are you referring to hideouts?
Because Hideouts is far from the only person working on that.
- 3 years ago@XHelperZ And this proves my point. There is one dude that we know of who has a team who deals with cheaters....yet they, in reality need an army, at least in the short term to play catch-up. We cannot assume nothing is being done, but without criticism, it ensures the minimum will 100% be done without that pressure from the community. Which is why you should stand with us and upvote instead of playing into EA's hand. I know you're trying but, stop and think about what would actually make a difference.
- 3 years ago@Unitee01 This I agree with, kinda like "the squeaky wheel gets the grease."
If we don't hold them accountable, nothing will ever change. Other than more skins to sell us. That we know will never change : )
