I guess their marketing dep. calculated that too many people are finishing their BPs and buying new ones without spending any real money so they decided that you are gonna either grind all day every day or pay them some cash.

@PogeNoob
Pretty much. And, you know, I wouldn't mind so much if this game didn't monetize the way it does. The regular boxes, expensive event boxes, $18 for a single Legendary skin, $10 for a single (Event) Epic, etc.
This game already charges out the wazoo for everything, so basically forcing you to buy levels on top of everything else is scummy.
Yes, I get it. "A company needs to make money" and all that. But, a line should be drawn somewhere. And this seems that be that line for a lot of people, myself included. I have supported this game in many ways (I bought all the legends with coins when I first started, I've bought skin and pack bundles, etc). But, I *refuse* to buy levels. I also won't buy full priced skins with my own money (I only ever bought one, once during Aftermarket, because my friend gave me the coins as a gift)
So, yeah. I will never personally buy expensive skins and I will never buy levels with *anyone's* money. And, because the way the S7 pass is built, I'm not buying it *at all* (unless they fix/revert it), because I don't think I can finish it on my own. Hell, at this point, I'm not even sure I want to keep *playing* anymore, let anyone *buy* anything. I'm very unhappy about this.
All I can suggest is for people to put their money where their mouth is. You think the pass is crap? Don't buy it and definitely don't buy levels. Hell, if you want to take it one step further, don't buy *anything* until they fix this garbage. Show them that they can't just walk all over us.

Rise up gamers.
- 6 years agoJust to give you guys an idea. I played 15 matches today with a 30% winrate and a 4.5k/d. I finished every single daily except for the one that involves gathering crafting materials. I'm still at level 1 of the battle pass. It's ridiculously broken and predatory but I guess that's just EA and Respawn.

I feel you, I was 16 matches in until I got a single level from exp gain. What in the actual hell Respawn?
