Clarification Discussion about Battle Pass *Star* changes (grind increase?)

- "XP challenges now award players one star for each 10,000XP earned."

So from what I can immediately read about the new changes, this is actually going to INCREASE the grind for Battle pass levels outside of challenges?
Every 10k exp is one star? Meaning I literally need 100k exp for one battle pass level? What in the actual hell? Can we please get 
some clarification on this or someone that understands this better? This sure as hell sounds like an overcomplication and an increase to 
grind than before. Or do I just not know / remember / understand how much player exp I get after a match??

    Just to give you guys an idea. I played 15 matches today with a 30% winrate and a 4.5k/d. I finished every single daily except for the one that involves gathering crafting materials. I'm still at level 1 of the battle pass. It's ridiculously broken and predatory but I guess that's just EA and Respawn.

    I feel you, I was 16 matches in until I got a single level from exp gain. What in the actual hell Respawn?
