@J0HNNYDEP The compensation that was given was due to people not being able to play for months at a time. It was not a day or two days this was 30+ days of being unable to join the game whats so ever. Some lasting multilpe months. So for this compensation was given out because they was unable to log in and play for that period.
No company is ever ready for a hack or expecting one. It sucks when these things happen. Looking at it from a customer stand point this was no fault of the company but the fault of some upset users who decided to interrupt game play for millions of players. Had the servers been crashing on their own I could understand being upset and wanting compensation. The blame should not be pushed to them this ruined their holiday weekend. They did not get to spend time with family and enjoy their time with family. They was called back into work to fix this issue on a holiday. So I would be thankful they was able to come in and work on it to get players back up and running.
