Competitive Cosmetic Prices to Fortnite

I love apex. The smoothest gameplay of any game out there right now. Some of the cosmetics are SO cool. I am curious as to why EA charges almost 20$ to buy a single legendary cosmetic in the shop? I have almost 4 days of gameplay and just now unlocked my first legendary skin through apex packs. I know in fortnite you can get really cool cosmetics for WAY cheaper. It sometimes seems like EA wants to squeeze every dollar out of you instead of letting people more easily get cool stuff. Do y’all feel the same way or know why they charge so much?
