@TheApexLegendNubI don't play much Arena either. But you can suicide with nades if you really want in Arena but you can't do that in Control. And one Arena match is a quicker than Control I would think. One player leaving in Control would ruin 8 other, but Arena is just 2. Ideally no one would leave, but I'd choose to put penalty on Control instead of Arena.
And it doesn't really make sense to have a surrender system when people can just leave at will as the current state. If people always connect to the same game, maybe that can work. And maybe just leave it to the report system when it comes to afk people.

@ATOMXIISo you want people to get a penalty for code-shoe and other server issues?
I got code-shoe in my very first game today, which would have had me not playing for10 mins when i wanted to play if there was a penalty.
They used to be able to bring back players into lobbies and i truly don't have the slightest clue why they disabled that feature.- 4 years ago@CrazieAtesPS4 Code-shoe is not the issue here. If people can't connect back, it's a server/system issue. System misjudging people having error vs leaving, it's a different issue. I just want to focus on the those who intentionally left a Control game, especially when they're on the losing side. I think the impact of getting outnumbered on Control is more significant than other modes. If Arena can have it, I don't see why Control can't. Leaver penalty may not be the ultimate solution, but I think it can be a quick fix to help alleviate the current situation.

@ATOMXIIServer issues are a big issue when discussing how to manage things like this when a temp player ban is involved.
The fact that so many people don't understand how vicious the servers can be blows my mind!
The best solution that has been mentioned, is to allow people in a queue to join into a game that has player loss. Of course we all know how that goes as well when it joins you into a game that has 1 min left of a complete butt whooping.
Temp bans aren't the fix for a broken game system.Example👉 Arenas
- 4 years ago@ATOMXII Penalty on ranked arena more important than non-ranked. Penalty on control important because a lot of people are wasting their time if the mode becomes imbalanced.
