Controller ras strafe

Before I say anything I am completely fine with controller players having access to tap strafing. I was hoping controller ras strafe on controller wouldn't get popular cause I think it is actually cheating but I've been noticing a lot of people of controller players doing this in fights like when reloading and stuff. I watched a video on this like a year ago and it's an extremely easy method to very effectively ras strafe on controller that you could almost never replicate on mnk. Even when I was on roller I didn't do the binds to make this happen because it seemed like cheating to me. Idk what can be done about this because I think roller players should have a way to tap strafe and I think it should stay in the game. I don't want to get into the sim assist debate but this is almost impossible to track on mnk and it happens at a range when your already at a disadvantage in the fight. But it's happened to me like 5 times in the past 2 days and really hoping this doesn't gain more popularity because I can imagine it leading to steam configs not being allowed or just removing tap strafing and that would be a bad direction for the game imo
