Count damage as points in ranked!
Anyone else do lots of damage in matches but little kills and get pissed for not getting rewarded for it? Damage should count for points in ranked. If assists count, there's no reason damage shouldn't count, too.

- @DaDeDimson Damage takes 0 skill, stop taking skill out of apex. What suggestion you should have made should be to increase the timer for assists.
- @MoNosDirtyGaming Lol how does damage take 0 skill? I can seriously make it to plat without taking a shot. I play solo in ranked a lot its extremely annoying when there is a lot of ppl fighting and you're lighting guys up then the fighting is over and you come out with 1 kill, but put down 6 or 7 hundred damage.
Counting damage will lead to sniper wars and trash damage that leads to no kills.
- @Irres169 There would probably be a little more but atleast it would encourage players to fight as opposed to just running away and hiding.

I can settle for that, I’ve just had so many matches where my squad dies before me and I have to jump in and rescue them. I will disagree though that damage takes 0 skill. At least reasonable amounts of damage, such as getting up to the several hundred range.
- @MoNosDirtyGaming Damage does require skill, but it would need to be a system like 500,1k,1.5k etc to get points or something and obviously lower damage would give less points
The devs would have to somehow balance it to prevent people farming damage.
- @DaDeDimson we already have a big problem about third partying, this features encourages more third partying
Horrible idea, it will just encourage even more camping with ppl sitting on roofs all game "leveling up" their dmg points with snipers. If you want points, finish off your opponents.
