Cross-Platform Play is a Must, as well as Solo Play mode.

No to the solo mode, as Apex is designed from the ground up as a squad game.
Cross-platform does give unfair advantage to PC players OR console players if there is strong aim assist mechanics in place.

With a dedicated solo mode players would surely start demanding for unnecessary balance changes since the squad based abilities and characters wont work that well as solo.
This would take focus and work power away from the development of Apex's core gameplay.

Make a solo drop option though, so players can drop solo into the regular mode. This would stop non-team players dropping in with 2 others and pretty much ruining their match because they want to play alone.

It needs neither of those. Go play noobnite if you want solos or cross platform.

Its a team based shooter and the legends reflect that.

In solo mode the 8 legends would be reduced even further.

Why would you play as Pathfinder or Caustic. Hell even Gibraltor would be a border line pick.

Everyone would pick Small hit boxes and offensive abilities.

Lifeline I could see people picking only for the increased drops and self heal.

Her passive is useless in Solo, so is Mirrages for that matter

If there was ever a Solo they should make a Generic legend that EVERYONE had to play as.

That way everyone would be on the same playing field.

Crossplatform is gonna be tricky. you cant really play competitively with a controller.

Especially not against mouse and keyboard.

Now I know there are some insane players with controllers but they are maybe 1 in 10000. And you want everyone to have fun.

Losing almost every firefight becuase you arent as accurate is the very definition of not fun.

I don't know about the solos thing but I would for sure enjoy playing with cross platform players, as a player of both pc and all consoles i believe that both platforms could be equally matched. Although i think it's important to give cross platform to those who want it, so maybe let it be an option to turn cross platform on and off

Cross-platform would be nice, but in games that try it, a lot of the time the servers are very shaky, and you get some nasty ping differences. And yes, Solos should have stayed a permanent gamemode, I would personally even enjoy a Ranked Solos mode.

@BamsenDK Pathfinder would still be played because he has overwhelmingly the best mobility in the game, same reason he's played in Squads and Duos. Life would be viable for passive, drone, and the free gear, Gibby would be fine for the same reasons he just became meta. Really the only legends that wouldn't see much play are the ones that already don't.

Cross console yes, so PS and Xbox players (is Apex on Switch?) being able to play together is fine but no to cross platform (so including PC).
