Cross play will not work even with all settings set to allow on xbox

I have gone through all of Xbox privacy settings to ensure cross play is enable. No luck. I normally always play cross play and have no issues at all. I currently am locked in XBOX only lobby’s…....

thank you for the response. After uninstalling and reinstalling the problem resolved itself. If it happens again Ill try your suggestion…would be faster than the download, haha.
