Cross progression/cross save?

With the announcement at EA play that apex legends will be getting Cross-play I was just wondering if we will also be getting cross platform progression. Many players want to switch from Xbox/PS4 to PC and some vice-versa, and it would be nice if their skins and stats would carry over. I also think majority of players will not want to start over on a new account when the switch version of the game comes out, as most players will want to use their main account on switch and not have to buy all their stuff over again.

    I believe it's in the works! But I wouldn't get my hopes up by expecting it.

    We'll probably have to wait for the Nintendo Switch version to be released before we get any actual announcements or news.

    I want this so badly I have a lot of battle passes on Xbox but when the switch comes out I don't wanna grind again.

    I agree, They should link your progress to your EA account that you link anyway. Unlocked a skin it's unlocked in the account and available anywhere the account is linked. Not sure why it's such a hard thing to do

    Implementing cross progression into a game post-launch is proving to be difficult, as the devs are trying to figure out the best way to let players merge their accounts.
