Do agree in some ways. I think Crypto could have the drone the additional ability to interact with traps to disarm them allowing a safe passage for the team, without drawing attention with gun fire.
Though there's seem to be leak going around where Crypto and Bloodhound are getting the same passive as Pathfinder where they can hack an antenna to reveal the next ring. so this could balance out the usefulness among the Recon legends.
Along the same lines Revenant silence ability could work similarly where on top of locking the enemies abilities, it also disables any traps set from activation (either in the vicinity of the orb or by the player hit by the orb).
These could be a good way to provide a counter to the current caustic and wattson meta.
I made a post about my crypto suggestion. Crypto is the most balanced but he still needs minor quality of life changes to make him great.
1. While the drone is activated but not being controlled (example: you set the drone up somewhere and back out of drone view) crypto has drone vision. The same hologram screen interface he has while controlling the drone is now present while he runs about. He can ping champion banners without the drone which would help avoid potential third parties getting the drop on you after or even during a fight. Being able to ping banners while being mobile would be a game changer but not op at all.
2. The drone destroys traps but the enemy can easily lay more traps as fast as they are destroyed. His emp needs to silence trap skills for at least 3 to 4 seconds. As of now when i emp a caustic/wattson occupied building, the caustic will have another trap blocking the door and wattson fences are back up like the emp didn't matter
3. Drone can lock doors. More useful than it sounds.
Also I heard that they are planning on making enemies take more damage while being drone detected. Is this true?
- @Blasian311 Taking more damage while being drone detected is an excellent idea. That would improve him drastically.
