Current Ring's Closing Damage

First off, I'm not talking about the changes to the ring where it started to deal more damage in general; I'm talking about how it jumps to the next ring's damage when the current one starts closing.

If each ring did the following damage:

Ring 1: 5
Ring 2: 10
Ring 3: 15

When ring 2 closes, its dealing ring 3's damage. Every random who I would tell that ring 3 is closing, they better run because its going to deal ring 4's damage doesn't believe me when I say it.

The ring should slowly increase its damage from one ring to the next.

Which means:

Ring 1 closing: 5 -> 6 -> 7 -> etc.

Not:

Ring 1 *just* starting to close: 5 -> 10

With the rings closing sooner and faster, its very punishing to take any kind of fight because the ring would just instantly slap you with a higher ring damage with no hopes of getting out of it.

    I can understand this abrupt change in the damage. It is only consistent in the logic of the stopgap to fight a symptom and not the cause.

    Let's remember: the changes were made to make the players fight, not to rest in the red zone.
    I think the way to achieve this goal is totally stupid (fight symptom instead of cause)!

    Your suggestion (good as it is) assumes that someone wants to improve the game for the players.
    Unfortunately, the developers or CEOs seem to be going more in the opposite direction. This means that they still haven't managed to ruin this game. But I'm sure they are working hard on it.
