Currently Frustrating and Unplayable

Hello Everyone,

I have been playing since release and have more time and cash invested into the game than I want to admit. I consider myself a decent player, general high diamond / low masters, ~2.5-3.0 KDR overall. Some seasons get more/less time in than other of course. 

Apex has so much potential with so many unique traits, such as great maps, great characters designs, skills, weapons, etc.

With that being said, the last several seasons of the game have become almost unplayable. Some major issues that have many of the players I currently attempt to play with or many that have entirely stopped playing:

Character Balancing. The majority of characters feel balanced and playable (on paper)…except, there are a few that have such an overpowered kit, that playing anyone else is a detriment to yourself and the team. 

Loba: for obvious reasons, everything about her kit of overpowered at the moment and ruins gameplay for every team that lands or fights around one, which is pretty much everywhere.

Horizon: While recent nerfs to her kit have helped, she still needs some tweaks. Likely around her passive. Flopping around an entire fight and getting away every time due to macro’s / movement tweaks? with 2hp doesn’t make for fun fights.

Support Class: Overall the support buffs were needed and made the characters great, but maybe a little too great. Again, a team of three supports should not be the standard.

Matchmaking: I understand I may be in an ‘upper tier’ MMR or whatever, but I don’t feel it should be a hard stop wall where every team has near 100% aim on head hits from crazy distances. I want fights to be a challenge, but it should not consistently just be either full squads that stand in the open and take 8 second to figure out their shield button, or a full squad that can somehow matrix dodge bullets and take out an entire team before they hit the ground from a Horizon lift, somehow all within 3 seconds.

Tried to keep it short, open to further discussion. I really would like Apex to succeed with dozens of more seasons in the schedule. No other BR games even come close with the potential in my opinion, and I’ve tried a lot.

Devs : keep up the hard work but listen to the players! :)
