Damage Counter in-game not accurate to end of game results

Hi,

I have only had this once that i have noticed.

It went like this:

(I joined a game as solo member and the jump master did an instant drop)

So long story short is...

I landed... i believe in Skull Town... I looted a few bits and got a Hemlock...

Heard shots fired and went towards the noise and saw one player scrambling up onto the roof.

I literally shot him once for 18 damage and he died due to the rest of his squad being dead. 

I then got knocked down from shots behind me and consequently died.

When i got to the stats page it said i had 1 kill but "NO" damage? <---- this is the only reason why i noticed...lol
