I haven't read the season patch notes but I just saw there is no Diamond trail anymore. Only masters and predators will have it. What is the purpose of striving, if the only thing you will get is charm and one badge?

Because diamond to them was not worthy of a trail for how easy it is to climb to it. Master and Pred on other hand to reach these are completely different play styles and skill levels. This is what allowed them to make master and pred. This is what sets them apart from the average to the pros. If small percent are not diamond and you are unable to kill them do you think you should be with them in ranks if you cant kill them? The whole thing is boggling how this is not understood. Diamond now shows above average player. Climb to master if want trail imo this sets you from above average to great player. Just how rank systems work on all games. The lower skill people dont reach last ranks in the game cause their skill level just isnt there yet. If it was then ranking up would be np.

I'm sure you're not even platinum or you've never been a diamond because everything you say is complete BS. Their damn system is like that. There is no chance to get to Masters when you're playing against TOP 100 predators in freaking diamond lobby. I'M DIAMOND NOT FREAKING PREDATOR. They stop your development!!!!!!!!!!

@DaBabyDa those of us who made pred or even master had to do it too. You think we created our accounta and insta made pred? We put in thousands of games thousands of hours. I have 9k games with 2k hours played. I put in a lot effort to make it there. Thats including at one time facing people much better then me. Adapt or stay diamond with no trail. Just how ranked is and will remain for now as company has stated so.

It's good that they stop a lot of weak players from entering the Diamond rank but tell me how to get out of it 🙂 In Diamond without friends you can't raise any points + all the smurfs and cheaters also do not allow you.

@DaBabyDaStrategy if you think there is cheater and smurfs then play it smart only engage from distance know your escape points know where your weak points are. Play circle picking people off from a distance. Avoid people up close at all cost if full on aggressive. If they come at you like seal team 6 just know you got some quite good players coming for you.

A lot my rankings was earned solo ques. I find the games much much easier then when go in with premades. Dont know why but just what i have seen on my end. It is possible to advance many have. Just got play with strategy.

@E9ine_AC Mate I can reach Diamond with randoms but after that, I need a team and I don't have a team. Diamond 4 - 1 is a pure hell full of hackers and smurfs. And somehow they decided to remove the Diamond dive trail. I hope you're a Master rank or at least Diamond because I don't see the point of what you wrote is inherent to noob players. (camping and hiding like a b****). I know very well how the beasts play in this game. So basically it is impossible to reach Masters in this phase of the game with smurfs and hackers. I don't like the fact that even after you stepped into a diamond, you don't get anything good. Then why does the game have this rank? it is the same as bronze, silver, gold and platinum, but the game is divided into 2 groups (I will not include bronze because it is meaningless)

[ SILVER-GOLD-PLATINUM] and [DIAMOND, MASTER, PREDATOR]
and they take away your right to have Diamond dive trail because of the sh** they did to this game?????

@E9ine_AC This will also destabilize their game. Why would anyone rush to play ranked when they will have to get to Masters for dive trail?
Dude, look at things realistically - enter the Diamond, reach the Master rank and come tell me "You were wrong!" 🙂

PS - It may take you a while until you reach it like the end of the season and you'll probably have to play every day unless you're someone who doesn't miss and makes minimum 8 kills per game.

@DaBabyDa Currently, only people who know they will get to Masters/Predator play hard. You can reach Diamond in 3-4 days of playing for a few hours if you are a good player. Then if you don't have friends to play with you in Diamond rank - don't start at all. Playing with randoms in Diamond is a big pain or in other words -- the only way to get to a Master is GOOD TEAM aka people who have reached at least a diamond 1-2 previous seasons. After removing this dive trail many people will give up playing ranked. They have to give many more goodies to Masters and Predators. One badge and temporary dive trail - LOOOL. They must give them at least 1 legendary apex pack, 250 apex coins, 2 badges, and 2 charms. They make fun of the players, but obviously no one cares. 🙂

im still in D3 since 2,3 weekd. not possible to ranked up. only preds and best players on world there. read my post.
also cheater included. this game sucks and loose all days players..belive me. EA need to do something about ranking and matchmaking. you cant compare a fullstream gamer, pro player with a casual gamer. stupid *, not more...

I mean everyone should understand who cant leave these ranks that its for a reason. Your skill level just is not there. This is not me saying your a bad player but this is the exact reason why ranked was done this way. This serperates the amazing from the average. People was carried to high ranks season 3. People alt f4 out of ranked to not lose rp. This system literally shows the stats that season 1 hit with only soo many in the world even made it there.
You cant advance if your skill level is not where theirs is just bottom line of it.
People who was rushed or alt f4 out of games really destroyed ranked. It gave total inaccurate numbers to true earnings of the ranked player. Anyone can advance when a smurf is on carrying you to feed you RP.
Now to reach master or pred you actually have to be on these skill levels.

@E9ine_AC You keep pointing out the problems they have created. They had to anticipate that there would be people who would try to deceive the ranked system + my point is why the heck they removed Diamond trail?? If they want Diamonds to reach Masters they need to get rid of Masters and Predators in Diamond lobbies. I'm at a level where I can kill diamonds but in diamond lobbies a very small percent are diamonds. So we return to my topic, I got a diamond rank and what to see? - No more diamond dive trails. This is a simple example of how a good game started making mistake after mistake. Maybe they should remove badges and charms for bronze, silver, gold, and platinum to distinguish diamonds from other mostly weak groups.
